Giovannina Abbenante M.A. is an intuitive coach, energy healer, metaphysical educator and public speaker, integrated with her projects in media, fashion and beauty. She has created Be Your Beauty™ Be Your Light™ and Be Your Spirit™. More detailed information about these and ongoing projects will be featured on the new website as they progress.
Currently residing in Los Angeles and working within the entertainment industry, Gio is partnering with like minded people to develop projects geared toward inspiring and guiding humanity toward positive change.
Gio's BE YOUR BEAUTY™ program integrates creating your outer image with a stronger, balanced inner core. This is achieved through a confidential, interactive sequence specially designed to explore your unique personal journey concerns. Through supported introspection, discussion, coaching and intuitive energy work, along with a bit of "magic", your inner and outer transformation begins!
An integral part of the Be Your Beauty program is to change your limited self perceptions, long held beliefs and traumas held in the subconcious mind, and inner programming that keeps creating what you don't want. Gio believes these are what hold you back in life and sabotage relationships, success, and true happiness:

Be Your Light™ is a specifically designed modality for creative individuals to achieve harmony between their personal lives, their work and their outer persona ie: actors, models, dancers, singers.
Over the years while working with people in the entertainment and modeling industries, Giovannina decided to address the specific needs for them that differed from her other clients. People who are constantly in the spotlight and always having pictures taken, or who are performing in front of many people continuously, need to learn how to appropriately protect themselves from being drained and depleted. It is important to deflect the sometimes negative thoughts and energy sent by numerous people toward them, that can easily push one off center.
Feeling alone in the midst of many is common for performers. It is an unbearable, confusing feeling that can create emotional vulnerablility and cause the person to spiral into many facets of negative expression.
If too much of their true self (their light) is overcome by depletion or negativity, any past wounds and trauma may get the upper hand. This then manifests as various emotional disturbances also leading to drug, sex, food, or alcohol abuse, as these fill up the void and inner turmoil and placate the angst.
A major factor is being able to keep a solid core center of truth, an inner balance and outer knowing, even if one is revered for their outer beauty or status.
A key component for actors is helping them to open up and channel other personalities, while not losing the way back to self and more importantly to love who they really are versus the illusion of the media.
Through this program they learn how to accept, shine light on, and transmute darkness, while using traumas that may arise in character to assist them in their own healing journey, while performing at their best. Often aspects of their soul are calling forth the roles they play, or songs they write or sing, in order to heal them. Yes, life imitating art and vice versa.
The tools learned in this method make it easier to transition between their work and personal life and sustain a strong sense of self. Clients are more balanced, successful and healthy of mind, body and spirit.
Background Information
Giovannina has always had a passion for assisting others to look and be their best. She adheres to the highest principles of physics in that life should be simplified, beautiful, and elegant in energy. This includes how one presents their "self", home, relationships, passion projects and simply, life. This is the beauty of being.
Before her current work, Gio was a Senior Creative Consultant to well known fashion designers, beauty names, and businesses ranging from interior design to automobiles, for a company based in Paris. She also did styling and editorial work for a major fashion magazine, showroom rep for Yves Saint Laurent, product development for Ralph Lauren... and more.
Gio has been a long time student, and teacher, of metaphysics. She received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology at NYU after making the decision to leave her lucrative career in fashion to pursue a new path. She realized her innate intuitive abilities at a young age, fine tuning them under the tutelage of spiritual teachers and visionaries around the world.
Over the years, Gio has presented her work at the United Nations and the New Life Expo in NYC and various spa and wellness centers, as well as local television and radio shows, across the country.
Gio teaches self esteem and empowerment groups for young women and worked with a recovery clinic in Los Angeles, assisting those with chemical dependencies. She is a member on an advisory panel of experts on eating disorders and body image, which implements programs and resources for support, education, and healing, country wide.
Giovannina is currently available to see clients in Los Angeles but also provides sessions via telephone.
